Travel around the world will always be my dream. I wish to bring my parents to see this beautiful world. This book is quite inspiring. Written by a Malaysian girl, seriously love to travel with her backpack. 《再穷也要去旅行:女孩背包游世界》, by 黄爱玲.She traveled to Korea, Tibet, Europe etc... I wish to go these places~~~ Especially Korea and Europe countries. I like Korean food! OMG, i miss kimchi and seaweed! Though I do not really know Europe, I think i'd like to see their buildings and their free and easy life style. Backpack travel? Well, I guess I would not have the chance to take a few months leave for traveling. I wish i can work and travel at a foreign country, unfortunately it's not easy for me too. A week or two, maybe. Who wants to join me if one day I have this idea comes into my mind? No tour guide, but a map. No 3 stars hotel, but a backpackers hostel. No nice food, but bread or canned food. It's not easy, but i think should have tried this once in your life time. Get to know more people, and see the real world out there. Game?
Another great book that I have read this year. Brand Sense by Martin Lindstorm -- A very good book for marketers. I like the examples and the ideas in this book, i think i agree most of his points. Is there any companies want to build their brand like what Martin Lindstorm suggested? Please bring me in! I want to do that! This is why i like marketing!!! It's amazing ^^, (4.5/5 stars)
I told my brother that I wish he can borrow some books from the library since he entered TAR College to further his tertiary study. A year later, he finally brought me this book. After reading two non fiction books, I start to have less interest in reading fiction books. However, I appreciate it and glad that he remembers his promise. So, I put all other books aside, and read Lost Angel, by Kitty Neale^^,I thought i need at least 2 to 3 weeks, but surprisingly I finished reading this in a week. I think i could not finish it if the story is not interesting. Not bad~ (3/5 stars)
I borrowed this book from my cousin in 2009, i guess. I started to read this book few months ago, but stopped reading it when my friends lend me some good books. It's thick, i used 3 to 4 weeks time to read this. Just few days ago, I stayed up until 3am just to finish the most excited chapters of this book. Oh My God... it's so nice!!!! I should have read this earlier. The author (or maybe the translator) is funny and I think i like the way he tells the story. The words are interesting and the story is mysterious and excited. I was so curious and eager to figure out the truth in this story. All I can say is, this books is really interesting and entertaining. Perhaps, it's the best fiction I have read in year 2011. Try it, it will not disappoint you.--- The Shadow of the Wind (Spanish: La sombra del viento), by Spanish writer Carlos Ruiz Zafón. (4/5 points)
If you hates to read translated chinese names, please try the English version. I always got confused with the characters and road names mentioned in this book >.< anyway, you'll still get used it after reading a few chapters... ^^,
